superman, batman.... pshh.

ok, here's the lowdown. superman and batman (and even spiderman) are all great superheroes. right. but onto the REAL superheroes: CAPTAIN PLANET and QUAILMAN. that's right. everyone overlooks these guys, but lets get real, they're the REAL deal. Lets start off with the precdecessor of awesomeness, Captain Planet. I don't think there's anyone out there that CAN'T sing at least part of the Captain Planet theme song (unless they lived under a rock throughout their childhood) Unlike Superman who dies if a little green rock gets near him, and batman who cries nightly about his dead parents, Captain Planet saves the world day in and out from pollution-inducing bastards! Plus he's awesome because he's got the 5 kids working for him - Earth Fire Wind Water Heart. Kinda like the power rangers, who were also kickass. There's really not much else to say about good old CP except that Carmen San Diego was always on right after, and that show rocks my socks. But I'm gunna stop this tangent right in its tracks and move on.

As for Quailman...he wears his underwear ON THE OUTSIDE AND A BELT ON HIS HEAD.* Nuff said.
